If you want to send the same message to several numbers, simple enter all the numbers together, separated by a ;. All the messages you enter will appear in the Queued Messages list. If you queue a message that you don't want to send, simply highlight it in the Queued Messages list and click on delete Having queued some messages, you may quit Send-It and all your messages will be saved, are re-loaded next time you run it. Although only a few services are supported at the moment, you may add in more services by selecting the Services button. This will display the following screen:
For information about adding services, see the ESMS administrators guide. Installing Send-ItThere is no installation program for Send-It. Simply un-zip the downloaded file into it's own directory - and that's it! The scripts provided assume that you are using COM 1 for your modem. If you are not, then you will need to edit the scripts. You will find a line that reads C1 at the start of each script file. Simply change the number to that of your COM port. It is a good idea to try sending a message to yourself to start with to check that everything is working properly. Send-It has only been used with a US Robotics modem, so if you don't have one, you may have some problems. If it doesn't seem to be working, see the ESMS Script Authoring Guide. Download Send-ItDownload Send-It V1.0 Beta 5 now for FREE 78,856 Bytes The following changes have been made since the previous version:
Scripts are supplied for UK Cellnet, UK Vodafone, UK Orange, UK One2One, Telstra Australia, Vodafone Australia, TIM Italy, Voicestream USA. These scripts assume that you are in the country for which they are written (i.e. the UK scripts assume you are in the UK, and the Australian script assumes that you are in Australia)! If you write your own scripts, feel free to send them to me and I'll add them in. For additional scripts, or script improvements visit the scripts page. If you download this program and find it of use, please let me know. Why, because if I know that people are using it I'll continue to improve it. Many thanks to Clive Goldman for his help in testing the
Cellnet script, and to Paul Denyer for the Telstra script. Note:All software on this site is supplied "as is", with no guarantee offered or implied.
